Walking Worthy

"You are witnesses, and so is God, how devoutly and uprightly and blamelessly we behaved toward you believers; just as you know how we were exhorting and encouraging and imploring each one of you as a father would his own children, so that you would walk in a manner worthy of the God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory." ~ 1 Thessalonians 2:10-12

The Christian walk is not meant to be a solitary journey, but one lived in vibrant community. Therefore, it's crucial to ask ourselves: who are the faithful brothers and sisters in Christ who are actively speaking into your life, encouraging you with the Word of God, and lovingly spurring you on toward a deeper walk with Jesus? Scripture teaches us the profound value of such fellowship, where we sharpen one another and spur one another to love and good works (Proverbs 27:17; Hebrews 10:24-25). This mutual encouragement is essential as we strive to "walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him in every good work" (Colossians 1:10).
