It is Finished

"Therefore when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And He bowed His head and gave up His spirit." - John 19:30 

When Jesus declared, "It is finished!"on the cross He proclaimed the complete and perfect accomplishment of His redemptive work on the cross. This was not a cry of defeat, but of triumph, signifying that the prophecies concerning His suffering and death were fulfilled, and the full payment for sin was made (Isaiah 53:5-6; 1 Peter 2:24).  

The completed work of redemption is the greatest news humanity can hear. Who will you tell?
