Love Check

"Above all, keep fervent in your love for one another, because love covers a multitude of sins." ~ 1 Peter 4:8

This verse reminds us that Christian love is not a passive feeling but an active, earnest commitment. It is a love that intentionally seeks the well-being of others, just as Christ loved us (John 13:34). Furthermore, this deep, committed love has a powerful effect: it "covers a multitude of sins." This doesn't mean that love excuses sin or avoids accountability, but rather that it fosters an environment of grace and forgiveness, preventing minor offenses from becoming major divisions and promoting reconciliation, reflecting God's own grace toward us in Christ (Colossians 3:13-14).  How fervent is your love toward others?
