The Moon & Stars

"When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained; what is man that You take thought of him, And the son of man that You care for him?" ~ Psalm 8:3-4

On April 1, 2026, NASA launched Artemis II on a mission to fly past the Moon and return safely to Earth. The 10-day journey carried its crew farther from Earth than any human has ever traveled. What an amazing accomplishment of human creativity and ingenuity. However, it was the handiwork of God that created all of what we observe in the heavens above. His fingers conducted the creation of the heavenly bodies as He placed each one through His spoken word. (Genesis 1:16-17; Psalm 33:6, 148:3-5; Isaiah 40:26). Yet, in the midst of such a powerful display of power and wonder, our God was mindful of everyone of us. Contemplate that for a moment; do you feel cared for and loved beyond measure?
